1. Pre-Delivery Inspection: Prior to signing for the delivery, we kindly request that you
inspect the flagpoles for any damages. This step is crucial to ensure that any damages
or shortages are noted before acceptance of the delivery.
2. Noting Damages or Shortages: In the event of any damages or possible concealed
damage, or if there are shortages in your order, it is imperative to note these issues on
the Proof of Delivery (POD) or Bill of Lading (BOL) provided by the freight company.
Failure to do so may result in the freight company considering the delivery as free and
clear, and Uncommon USA cannot be held responsible for damages noted after delivery
has been signed free and clear.
3. Reporting Damages or Shortages: Should you encounter any freight damage or
shortages, we urge you to contact Uncommon USA immediately. It is essential to report
any issues promptly, as the window to do so is limited.
4. Flat Rate Fee: Our flat rate fee applies to shipments within the lower, continental 48
states. However, if your purchase requires additional services such as ferry transport,
crosses bodies of water, incurs exceptional charges, or if the delivery location is outside
of the lower 48 states, we are more than willing to accommodate your needs. In such
cases, we can provide independent quotes for delivery or ship to a freight forwarder of
your choice within the lower 48 states. Please note that our flat rate fee is a courtesy
extended to our customers and is based on typical shipping using our standard rate.
